01About the Event

The majority of contemporary work on Islam's vision of society and polity invest into the topic from decolonial and anti-western perspectives. Islamic vision on these debates is far greater than this traditional otherness. Islam proposes its very own comprehensive system for the political realm whose virtue is not merely negating one odd alternative. In this backdrop, the speaker, Dr. Ovamir Anjum who is the founding president of Ummatics Institute has great expertise on this topic will explain Islam's Indigenous Ummatic Discourse including its details and nuances in a seminar. Research Center for Social Thought and Research (TODAM) invites you this session that will be held as part of ILKE Agenda on 20 June 2023, Tuesday, 18:00 at ILKE Foundation in Uskudar, Istanbul.

Since the program will not be hybrid, there will be no online broadcast.
