The ILKE Foundation's Research Center for Thought and Policy is pleased to present the recently published Outlook of Palestine report. This will be followed by a discussion of the various dimensions of the occupation in Palestine with experts in the field.
The Palestinian society has been striving to continue its existence under decades-long Israeli occupation. Socio-economic indicators related to Palestine reveal that Israeli occupation has permeated all aspects of Palestinian society. Understanding Palestine's socio-economic indicators is essential for grasping both the condition of Palestinian society and the scope of the occupation. In addition to the socio-economic indicators, the political and legal aspects of the Israeli occupation will form the basis of this discussion. Dr Kamalain Shaath, former Rector of Gaza Islamic University, will assess the educational infrastructure in Palestine, while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Taha Eğri will provide an overview of the Palestinian economy. Assist. Prof. Hasan Basri Bülbül will continue the discussion on the legal dimensions of the occupation. This program will create a framework to expand knowledge on Palestine.
